Rap als Storytelling at its best: Kodak Black mit seinem neuen Song "Vultures Cry 2"

Auch Geier haben Gefühle: "Vultures Cry 2" lautet der neue Track von Kodak Black, in dem er gemeinsam mit WizDaWizard Und Mike Smiff vom Hustle und Grind des täglichen Lebens berichtet. 

Auch das Musikvideo zum Song – den Kodak Black pünktlich zu seinem 23. Geburtstag veröffentlichte – beginnt stilecht mit Geiern, die Kodak Black umgeben, während er vom Himmel zur Erde fällt. Der Rapper ist in dem Clip als CGI-Version zu sehen – im echten Leben sitzt er gerade eine Gefängnisstrafe ab. 

Umso präsenter ist dafür im Video seine Rap-Crew Sniper Gang inklusive Mike Smiff und WizDaWizard, die ihre Zeilen in die Kamera flexen. "Murder, murder, kill, kill, all the niggas hollerin' / If lil' Kodak say he get ya best believe I got ya", stellt WizDaWizard klar, und Mike Smiff berichtet: "I’m really livin' like this, niggas knowin' that / I'm out in the middle of the jungle, where it's snowin' there / You better keep your head on a swivel, gotta know how to play / Dawgs just got out the feds, now he up outta here".
