Grammy Awards 2023: Brandi Carlile, Lizzo und Mary J. Blige treten live auf
Alle drei Künstlerinnen sind beim weltweit wichtigsten Musikpreis am Sonntag zudem in mehreren Kategorien nominiert.
Diese Woche Sonntagabend (2 Uhr in der Nacht zu Montag deutscher Zeit) werden in Los Angeles die Grammy Awards verliehen. Die Veranstaltung im Microsoft Theater wird moderiert von Trevor Noah. Und der erste Schwung an Live-Acts wurde nun bekannt gegeben. Mit Brandi Carlile (Foto oben), Lizzo und Mary J. Blige sind drei Warner-Artists dabei, außerdem werden an dem Abend Bad Bunny, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Kim Petras, Sam Smith und Harry Styles live performen.
Brandi Carlile, Lizzo und Mary J. Blige sind auch jeweils für Preise im Rennen: Brandi Carlile ist für sieben Grammy Awards nominiert, Mary J. Blige für sechs und Lizzo für fünf.
Konkret wurde Brandi Carlile in den folgenden Kategorien berücksichtigt: Record Of The Year ("You And Me On The Rock"), Album Of The Year (In These Silent Days), Best Rock Performance ("Broken Horses"), Best Rock Song ("Broken Horses"), Best Americana Performance ("You And Me On The Rock"), Best American Roots Song ("You And Me On The Rock") und Best Americana Album (In These Silent Days).
Mary J. Blige ist nominiert in den Kategorien Record Of The Year ("Good Morning Gorgeous"), Album Of The Year (Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)), Best R&B Performance ("Here With Me"), Best Traditional R&B Performance ("Good Morning Gorgeous"), Best R&B Song ("Good Morning Gorgeous") und Best R&B Album (Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)).
Lizzo kann sich Hoffnungen machen in den Sparten Record Of The Year ("About Damn Time"), Album Of The Year (Special), Song Of The Year ("About Damn Time"), Best Pop Solo Performance ("About Damn Time") und Best Pop Vocal Album (Special).
