In "Cut The Cord" ermutigten uns Shinedown dazu, unser eigenes Schicksal in die Hände zu nehmen, nun hat die Band mit "Black Cadillac" einen zweiten Song vom kommenden Album "Threat To Survival" veröffentlicht – und knüpft thematisch nahtlos an: "I’m sick of all the same withdrawals / I got a mind full of inspiration /And I ain't livin’ in the past no more / So feast your eyes / On the big, blue sky / And wave bye bye / From a long, black Cadillac", singt Frontmann Brent Smith in dem kraftvollen Song.
