Im Februar kommt das neue Album "Silences", hier ist der erste Song "Dope Queen Blues"

Adia Victoria ist definitiv eine "dope queen", eine verdammt coole Königin, das bewies sie in der Vergangenheit mit ihrem Debütalbum "Beyond The Bloodhounds" (2016) und ihren EPs "How It Feels" und "Baby Blues" (beide 2017). "Dope Queen Blues", der Titel ihres neuen Songs ist also berechtigt. Unten seht ihr das Lyric Video zu "Dope Queen Blues", das Aaron Dessner (The National) produzierte und sich mit den immer gleichen Irrwegen und Versuchungen des Alltags auseinandersetzt: "And the clock been tick, tick, ticking time away / While I’m out doing things that I shouldn’t / But I do anyway / I'm only looking for a quick fix", singt Adia Victoria in dem jazzig-funkigen Track.
