Am 01.11. kommt das neue Album "Feelings", hier ist die erste Single + Video "Joy Joy"

2017 schlug die damals 20-Jährige Kinga Glyk mit ihrem Debütalbum hohe Wellen in der europäischen Jazz-Szene, nun hat die Polin ihr zweites Album "Feelings" in den Startlöchern, das am 1. November erscheint. Angeführt von der neuen Single "Joy Joy", die in Begleitung eines Videos kommt – siehe unten. 

Kinga Glyk legt in ihrem neuen Song einmal mehr eine Fingerfertigkeit und ein Einfühlungsvermögen an den Tag, als sei der Bass, den sie spielt, kein Instrument, sondern ein Teil ihres Körpers. Der neue Song entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Pittsburger Keyboarder Brett Williams (Marcus Miller, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder u.v.m.) und ist ein Beleg für die unbändige Spielfreude der heute 22-Jährigen, die auf dem enorm funkigen, von Disco-Sechzehnteln interpunktierten Track ein außergewöhnlich lebensfrohes Statement abgibt. 

Kingas Album "Feelings" erscheint am 1. November als CD und digital, und am 15. November als 180-Gramm-LP mit Download-Card. Ab dem 7. November wird sie in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz live auf Tour zu erleben sein, bevor im nächsten Jahr weitere Termine anstehen. Die Termine stehen unten im Post, begleitet von einem persönlichen Statement der Künstlerin. Darin sagt sie unter anderem: 

I can say this album is the first one giving me so much joy! Sometimes I’m mad at myself, I do not believe that I’m able to give you all something great...I often compare myself to others, I want to catch up with the things I didn't manage to learn .. but hey... Do I have to? I just want to give you myself and what I feel inside, I want to give you something unique that comes from my heart. I want to be honest with you. Music is a language which allows me to express more than words. Music gives me freedom :)

Hey,hey everyone!! . . . I don't do this often cause I know everybody is busy and doesn't have time to read long texts so please forgive me this will be a little bit longer than my previous messages, if you have time stay with me! . . . As you know my new album is coming out soon! The name of it is FEELINGS . . . My story with the bass begun a few years ago. I experienced both amazing as well as hard situations but I've learned a lot! I met many many people, I've played hundreds of concerts, I tried to practice more on the bass and not only, I visited dozens of countries, some of my dreams came true, there were also some moments of doubt, I released three personal albums, I sacrificed a lot of energy to develope what I do in order to improve myself. I'm still on the way to find my place in the music world but I'm at the moment of my life that I'm very happy and totally satisfied with the music I've created for the upcoming album FEELINGS :) . . . I made a step ahead! I can say this album is the first one giving me so much joy! Sometimes I’m mad at myself, I do not believe that I’m able to give you all something great...I often compare myself to others, I want to catch up with the things I didn't manage to learn .. but hey... Do I have to? I just want to give you myself and what I feel inside, I want to give you something unique that comes from my heart. I want to be honest with you.
