Dieses Session-Video mit dem neuen Song "5 Cookies" zeigt Kinga Glyks Virtuosität am Bass

Diesen Freitag erscheint das neue Album "Feelings" von Kinga Glyk – und wie unglaublich gut die 22-jährige Polin am Bass ist, kann man unten im Session-Video zum jüngsten Vorboten "5 Cookies" sehen. Auf "5 Cookies" übertrifft Glyk mit nahezu irrwitzigem Bass-Slapping alles, was man bisher von ihr kannte. Wenn dann auch noch der Rick-James-Kulthit "Superfreak" anklingt, ist klar, dass der Spaß am Spiel über allem steht, gepaart mit der meisterlichen Beherrschung des Instruments. 

"Feelings" ist nach "Dream" (2017) Kinga Glyks zweites Album für Warner Music. Der Veröffentlichung schließt sich im November / Dezember sowie im Frühjahr eine ausgiebige Tournee an, auf der man die derzeit aufregendste Bassistin ihrer Liga live erleben kann:

Hey,hey everyone!! . . . I don't do this often cause I know everybody is busy and doesn't have time to read long texts so please forgive me this will be a little bit longer than my previous messages, if you have time stay with me! . . . As you know my new album is coming out soon! The name of it is FEELINGS . . . My story with the bass begun a few years ago. I experienced both amazing as well as hard situations but I've learned a lot! I met many many people, I've played hundreds of concerts, I tried to practice more on the bass and not only, I visited dozens of countries, some of my dreams came true, there were also some moments of doubt, I released three personal albums, I sacrificed a lot of energy to develope what I do in order to improve myself. I'm still on the way to find my place in the music world but I'm at the moment of my life that I'm very happy and totally satisfied with the music I've created for the upcoming album FEELINGS :) . . . I made a step ahead! I can say this album is the first one giving me so much joy! Sometimes I’m mad at myself, I do not believe that I’m able to give you all something great...I often compare myself to others, I want to catch up with the things I didn't manage to learn .. but hey... Do I have to? I just want to give you myself and what I feel inside, I want to give you something unique that comes from my heart. I want to be honest with you. Music is a language which allows me to express more than words. Music gives me freedom :) . . . I want to say thank you to all of you for supporting me on my musical path. I also want to invite you for the upcoming TOUR. Twenty-one concerts in one month that’s a lot to me! I'm super excited and it's truly a gift to have fans like you who appreciate what I do! . . . THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I feel great thankfulness and happiness! Among many difficulties there is always hope and there’s sense in carrying on against all odds.
